Presentation of the ‘Viu la Vela’ program at the RCNB

On the 1st of February, the project “Viu la Vela” will be presented at the Reial Club Nàutic Barcelona.

The Club participates in the project promoted by the Ajuntament de Barcelona and the Federació Catalana de Vela, framed within the project “Pavelló Blau” with the objective of promoting the America’s Cup and sailing sports for 6th grade students of the schools of Barcelona.

In addition to the presentation of this initiative to the teachers of the elementary and special education schools of Barcelona, during the act Laia Bonet, third Tinenta d’Alcaldia; David Escudé, regidor d’Esports; Xavier Torres, president of the Federació Catalana de Vela; Jordi Puig, president of the Reial Club Nàutic de Barcelona; Bernat Antràs, president of the Club Natació Barcelona; Miquel Delclòs, president of the Reial Club Marítim de Barcelona have signed a general protocol of intentions to state their collaboration and their commitment to participate in the development of this project.

At the event, Leslie Ryan, director of the organization of the Copa Amèrica in Barcelona 2024, also attended.
